Resident Engineer – Fortinet Solutions

Location: Saudi Arabia

Work Arrangement: Onsite

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to provide onsite technical support for a customer in Saudi Arabia, with a primary focus on Fortinet security solutions. The role will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the customer’s Fortinet environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Fortinet solutions, including FortiGate, Analyzer, Mail, Authenticator, and experience with SASE would be advanatgeous and any other related security products.

• Provide onsite technical support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

• Perform system health checks, configuration reviews, upgrades, and maintenance activities.

• Monitor the environment and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.

• Support changes, enhancements, and integration of Fortinet solutions within the customer environment.

• Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.

• Coordinate with the customer and relevant technical teams to ensure reliable and secure operations.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Fortinet solutions, particularly FortiGate, Analyzer, Mail, Authenticator, and experience with SASE.

• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, routing, switching, VPNs, and troubleshooting.

• Experience in deployment, administration, support, and maintenance of enterprise network security environments.

• Fortinet NSE 4, NSE 5, or NSE 6 certification will be advantageous.

• Good communication and customer-facing skills.

• Ability to work independently in an onsite customer environment.

• Relevant experience in a similar Resident Engineer or Network Security Engineer role.
